According to a report in The National, a film is to be made marking the effects of Muhammad Al Bouazizi's act of protest and its after effects.
The film is to be produced by Tunisian born (now Paris based) film producer Tarak ben Ammar, who's credits include work on films such as Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Life of Brian (all of which had parts shot in Tunisia).
I will also be writing to Mr Ammar asking him to support the campaign - but if anyone happens to know him, perhaps they could point him in the direction of this blog?
